Responsibilities
Some duties and responsibilities may include:
- Running tillage equipment
- Delivering seed to planter
- Light equipment maintenance greasing, general repairs
- Running a sprayer
- Irrigating crops, setting out pipe, starting travellers
- Driving buggy tractor in fall/Combine operation
- General farm jobs
Need experience in some, but not all jobs listed above.
Qualifications
- Experience in farming and heavy machinery operation
- Attention to detail
- Managing and organizing multiple tasks
- Need to be flexible for hours of work in peak seasons Spring/Fall
- Ability to use/learn the latest technology in the agriculture sector.
- Ambitious great attitude, ability to work and problem solve with others
- A-Z license is considered an asset
